The Bloody Mary earns its place

The espresso martini is also very good. Properly chilled and strong on coffee, it suits the occasion and earns another order. The Bloody Mary is the more distinctive choice, but both suggest a menu that handles familiar classics with care.

There is no need for experimentation to dominate the list. The setting suits elevated classics, and their execution makes the wider drinks menu worth exploring. Choose another cocktail because it appeals to you, rather than because the first round is merely an obligation.

Make a meal of it

Food contributes meaningfully to the experience. A quality brunch offering makes this a place to eat as well as drink, without requiring the meal to displace the bar as the main story.
